little g - god

People who are irreligious spell "god" with a lowercase "g".

The scientific consensus is that the concept of "god" and all the traditions and constructs that surround religion provide some adaptive evolutionary advantage, both for the individual and for the culture that adopts these adaptive constructs. In other words, "god" promotes human flourishing.

Big G - God

Religious people spell "God" with a capital "G".

God is the supreme being, the creator of the universe, and the source of all life. God is the Logos, the Word, the Mind of the Universe. Devotion and worship of God is the highest calling of both the individual and the culture. In other words, God promotes human flourishing.

gGodly

gGodly asserts that there is no distinction between the scientific god and the religious God. gGodly asserts that God is the god of science and the god of science is the God of religion.

gGodly is not a religion. gGodly is a framework that can be implemented by any religion.

gGodly measures conceptualizations of God and religion by the degree to which they are adaptive and promote human flourishing.

Why now?

Post-religious secularism has left people searching for meaning and purpose.

It is time to bring back religious faith, community, and traditions, reconciled with science.

gGodly aims to create healthy, resilient, deliberately adaptive individuals and cultures.
